Residential Program Rates 

SOPEC is comprised of 19 active member communities receiving electric supply from AEP Energy, the supplier for the SOPEC Electric Aggregation Program. Electric supply charges will be listed on one’s AEP Ohio electric bill as “Generation” - with the rate listed per kilowatt-hour (kWh). AEP Ohio charges for distribution, transmission, and other riders are not related to electric aggregation rates. AEP Ohio charges are the costs associated with delivering electricity, maintaining electric poles/lines, and providing billing and customer support services.
