Public Pricing Program
The Public Pricing Program (P3) is an opt-in electric supply rate program for public-sector utility customers, including local governments (cities, villages, counties, townships), non-profit organizations, faith-based entities, and public agencies with service located in a SOPEC member community. Any SOPEC member political subdivisions of Ohio can join, too.
The P3 helps our public-serving customers achieve a competitive electric supply rate on their electric bill - an average of 28% lower than the current SOPEC opt-out electric aggregation rate in Southeast Ohio.
SOPEC functions as a public, statewide energy office by managing electric aggregation programing and providing sustainable energy services for its member communities. We are committed to sustainability, all while keeping energy dollars local and creating valuable public energy programs. Eligible government/public participants can complete the form below to apply for enrollment in the SOPEC Public Pricing Program.
Approved public entities will receive notice of the next steps for account enrollment.
