Jennifer O'Donnell

Jennifer O’Donnell (she/her) is SOPEC’s Regional Director for Southwest Ohio, where she works to support and expand SOPEC’s membership across the region, through community choice aggregation that delivers savings backed by 100% renewable energy, and additional programs to advance local sustainability solutions including electric vehicle infrastructure and solar development. She holds a BA in English from Case Western Reserve University. Additionally, she played a leading role in the passage of Ohio’s original community choice aggregation state legislation, as well as the campaign to establish it in the City of Cincinnati. Jennifer is passionate about utilizing this powerful tool to its fullest potential, in combination with other public energy programs that grow the green power economy and ensure local control of Ohio’s sustainable energy future. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys seeing live music, cooking, hiking and learning about local and state history.
