Lacey Babnik

Lacey Babnik (she/her) is one of SOPEC’s Grants Managers. She is responsible for the creation and execution of, and compliance with, grant requirements, post-award contracts and agreements, and managing grant management software. She has earned a BA in anthropology and botany from Ohio Wesleyan University. She is a former nonprofit development director and has nearly 5 years of grants management experience across multiple sectors. She is excited to support SOPEC, its subgrantees and its members in capturing the most benefit from federal and state grants through responsible grants management and compliance, and she committed to building a sustainable and equitable energy future for all Ohioians. In her free time, Lacey is an avid gardener certified in permaculture design. She is on her way to becoming a Master Rain Gardener. She also enjoys riding the amazing mountain bike trails across Ohio.
