Jennifer McMillin
Jennifer McMillin (she/her) serves as the Regional Director of Northeast Ohio, which involves supporting SOPEC member communities and political subdivisions in the Northeast Ohio region through aggregation programs backed by 100% renewable power along with value-add programs including community grants and solar development. She is passionate about equitable access to green power and energy efficiency programs that benefit residents and organizations while minimizing greenhouse gas emissions. Jenn holds a BA in cultural anthropology and spanish with a minor in environmental studies from St. Cloud State University and a Master of Environmental Science degree from the Australian National University while studying as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar in Canberra, Australia’s national capital. Her interest in the sustainable energy sector is focused on the transition to renewable power generation and efficiency in building operations. Jenn loves to build networks that allow for collaboration and collective action toward a sustainable future that will allow our children and grandchildren to thrive. In her free time, Jenn enjoys spending time with her husband and two teenage son, immersing herself in the outdoors through camping and hiking, traveling, listening to audiobooks and uncovering my roots through explorations of family history and genealogy.
